Leiter Style

I have long been a fan of the American photographer Saul Leiter whose images are almost exclusively taken in New York in the 1960’s & 70’s. His images tend to have defined ‘layers’ and often involve reflections and shooting through objects and windows. I have been trying recently to replicate his ‘aesthetic’ style in images taken on my street wanderings. These are some images attempting to imitate his style but in a more contemporary way.
